We are seeking an experienced Information Security Analyst to join our Technical Services and Security team at Gowling WLG. This role will involve reporting to our IT Compliance Manager and supporting the Information Security Officer in the delivery of operational Information Security and the Integrated Management System (IMS), which includes ISO 27001 and Business Continuity.
Key Objectives:- Manage, maintain, and monitor the Information Security Management System (ISMS) within the firm's Integrated Management System (IMS) and its links to the Business Continuity Management System (BCMS).
- Embed a culture of information security within the firm, focusing on security by design.
- Act as an interface for security between strategic and process-based activities and the work of technology-focused experts, analysts, and administrators.
- Work with the IT organisation and business management to align security priorities and plans with key business objectives.
As an Information Security Analyst, you will be a critical member of the BIS Team, supporting the implementation of Gowling WLG's IT security roadmap and developing relationships with stakeholders across the business to provide best-in-class security architecture.
About You:We are looking for an individual who demonstrates genuine enthusiasm for governance, risk, and compliance, and stays informed about the latest trends in IT security.
You will require excellent analytical, written, and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical users. A team player with a methodological approach, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to various internal and external situations is essential.
Qualifications/Certifications:- Industry-recognised certifications, such as ISO 27001, Cyber Essentials, and PCI/DSS accreditation, are desirable.
