About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Assistant Management Accountant to join our team at Page Personnel Sales. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the completion of monthly management accounts, assisting in budget preparation and financial forecasting, and maintaining and reconciling balance sheet accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including analysis and reconciliation of financial data
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial forecasts and budgets
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations
  • Process and record financial transactions accurately, ensuring timely and efficient completion
  • Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial procedures and processes
  • Participate in financial audit processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Produce ad hoc financial reports as required, providing insights and recommendations to stakeholders
Requirements
  • A recognized qualification in Accountancy or Finance, such as ACCA or CIMA
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office, including Excel and Access
  • A solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting, including IFRS and GAAP
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and precision
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, with the ability to analyze complex financial data and provide recommendations
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to present financial information to stakeholders
  • An ability to work collaboratively within a team, with a strong focus on teamwork and collaboration
