About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled People Development Specialist to join our team at Moto. As a key member of our HR function, you will play a critical role in supporting our regional and site leaders to effectively manage the colleague experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • People Management Advisory: Provide expert advice and guidance to leaders and their teams on all aspects of people management, ensuring effective practices are in place within designated regions.
  • Site Support: Attend and support at sites to provide coaching and challenge on people matters, with a strong focus on Employer Relations.
  • HR Policy Interpretation: Coach and support leaders in the interpretation and application of HR policies and practices.
  • Complex Case Management: Identify and liaise with Moto's People & Legal advisor on complex cases or those involving a perceived high degree of risk.
  • Change Management: Support leaders on change processes such as redundancies, restructures, and TUPE.
  • Development Sessions: Create and lead development sessions around people processes and employment legislation for leaders, to improve their capability in people management.
  • Sick Leave Management: Support leaders in managing long-term sick and oversee administrative processes related to health checks, risk assessments, performance management, flexible working, etc.
  • Cultural and Change Management: Support cultural, change management, and engagement programmes that reinforce Moto's purpose, values, and vision.

  • Employee Relations Expertise: Strong knowledge and experience covering all aspects of Employee Relations.
  • Stakeholder Influence: Ability to challenge and influence key stakeholders with a professional, yet assertive and confident approach.
  • Multi-Tasking: Ability to multitask, work to deadlines, prioritize under pressure, and use own initiative.
  • Team Player: Excellent team player with the ability to build effective team relationships and promote an environment of trust and flexibility.
