Position Overview: We are seeking skilled Control and Instrumentation Engineers to contribute to innovative marine projects with a prominent player in the Defence sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive functional designs and corresponding Bill of Materials for Control and Instrumentation solutions tailored to intricate propulsion, mechanical, and electrical systems, utilizing Piping & Instrumentation diagrams as a foundation.
  • Specify appropriate instrumentation for measuring pressure, temperature, flow, level, and analysis, ensuring suitability for specific operational conditions.
  • Design remote functionalities for the Control and Instrumentation solutions, including Human Machine Interfaces and Cable Management & Interface Protocols.
  • Adhere to relevant standards, including defence, British, naval, and nuclear standards.
  • Create and manage I/O schedules, instrument schedules, cable schedules, and functional design specifications.
  • Implement physical system-to-system interface designs.

Qualifications: Previous experience as a Control and Instrumentation Engineer in highly regulated or safety-critical industries is essential. Candidates with backgrounds in sectors such as baggage handling, steel manufacturing, or chemical processing are encouraged to apply.
