Job Summary:
Gap Personnel is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join a leading global manufacturer of Lead-Acid and Lithium-ion batteries in Swindon. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for assembling materials and equipment, inspecting finished products, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble materials and equipment as required
- Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met
- Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production lines
- Transport raw materials from one place to another
- Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met
- Conduct inspections and quality control of products
- Assist in lifting, carrying, and moving heavy loads as required
Requirements:
- Sharp attention to detail in favor of identifying defects
- Self-driven and hard worker
- Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Flexible to work shifts, overtime, and weekends as required
- Physically able to lift, carry, and move up to 20/25kg
Working Conditions:
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with a focus on quality and efficiency. The role will involve working in a team environment with minimal supervision.
