Senior Financial Accountant Opportunity

Accountable Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Accountant to join a high-growth, commercial business in the North West. As a key member of the finance team, you will be responsible for group consolidation, balance sheet, and cash flow management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of statutory accounts for subsidiary companies.
  • Managing inter-company reconciliations.
  • Consolidating forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans, along with supplementary group reporting including cashflow and net working capital analysis.
  • Coordinating management reporting packs.
  • Handling corporation tax accounting and submissions.
  • Coordinating the annual external audit process and ensuring compliance with statutory reporting obligations.
  • Providing training and guidance to the Management Accounts team and supporting with technical finance matters.
  • Acting as a key contact for Group Finance and mentoring the Assistant Reporting Accountant.

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualified.
  • Experience in Audit.
  • Current knowledge of IFRS.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines.
  • Ability to influence colleagues at all levels.
  • Experience of supporting and embedding the financial elements of transformational change.
  • Full understanding of the compliance and legislation associated with financial reporting.
