Position Title: Registered General Nurse
Compensation: £21.68 per hour
Working Hours: 36.75 hours per week - Flexible shifts including days and nights - Day shifts from 8:00am to 8:15pm / Night shifts from 8:00pm to 8:15am
Key Responsibilities:
As a Registered General Nurse, you will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining detailed, personalized care plans that are regularly assessed and updated in line with NMC standards and organizational policies.
- Responding to emergencies and managing planned treatments for patients.
- Overseeing your own workload effectively.
- Conducting continuous assessments and evaluations of all patients.
- Tracking patient progress and outcomes.
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Applying surgical dressings and providing various forms of medical care.
- Organizing duty schedules and directing the training and work of nursing staff.
- Providing guidance on nursing care and preventative health measures.
- Facilitating communication between management, senior nursing staff, patients, and their families to ensure optimal care delivery.
- Planning, delivering, and assessing nursing care services, while supervising the execution of care plans.
Qualifications Required:
- Possession of an NQF Level 6 qualification (or equivalent).
- Registered with the NMC as a General Nurse.
- Previous nursing experience is essential.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Comprehensive knowledge relevant to the nursing role.
- Essential skills to perform the responsibilities outlined above.
