Job Summary

Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board is seeking a Middle Grade Registrar to support the Gastroenterology Team at Wrexham Maelor Hospital.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Seeing referrals from other specialties under the supervision of a Gastroenterology Consultant
  • Providing Gastroenterology opinion to other specialties
  • Participating in Endoscopy Training Sessions
  • Teaching and supervising junior staff
  • Contributing to audit and quality improvement projects
About the Role

This is a 12-month contract with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will work closely with the Gastroenterology Team to provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of the department.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • MRCP Part 1 and Part 2 written PACES
  • Valid ALS
  • General Medicine experience at SHO level for a minimum of 2 years
