Main Responsibilities:- To take responsibility for allocated referrals from source to discharge in line with agreed protocols and documentation.
- To conduct initial assessments of physical, psychological, and social well-being to accurately identify the child's needs and associated health needs.
- To work closely with staff from other agencies to promote and maintain high standards of care for children and adolescents with learning disabilities, developmental delay, and complex needs.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise and a passion for working with children and families. As a Senior Community Children Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and adolescents with learning disabilities, developmental delay, and complex needs, and developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet their needs.
Requirements:- NMC Registered Nurse
- Evidence of continued professional development
- Experience and knowledge of child development and learning disabilities
