Job Title: Part Time Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Part Time Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing support and care to a young man with learning disabilities and mild physical disabilities.

About the Role:
  • Provide support and assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, medication, and meal preparation.
  • Encourage and facilitate the individual's participation in activities they enjoy, such as music, cooking, and walking his dog.
  • Assist with mobility and personal care to ensure the individual's safety and welfare.
  • Document daily activities and progress in a detailed and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working in care or with individuals with learning disabilities is desirable.
  • NVQ 2 or equivalent qualification is desirable.
  • Understanding of different cultural needs is desirable.
  • Full clean driving licence and ability to obtain insurance for the client's vehicle.
Working Hours:

Initially 14 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the individual's needs.

Rate of Pay:

Weekday: £14.00 per hour, Weekend: £15.00 per hour, Night Rate: £14.00 per hour, Sleep in rate: £11.44 per hour.

Disclosure and Barring Service:

An enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
