Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified Bank Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons JW3 Finchley Road Day Nursery and Preschool. As a Bank Staff Member, you will have the flexibility to work when you want, while enjoying the security and benefits of being an employee.

About the Role

As a Bank Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for supporting our nursery colleagues in delivering high-quality early years education and care. You will engage children in entertaining and educational play and activities, encouraging their development towards key milestones, and ensuring their safety throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support nursery colleagues in delivering the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum
  • Engage children in play and activities that promote their development and well-being
  • Ensure the safety and welfare of children at all times
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and safe environment

Requirements

  • Full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
  • Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for children
  • Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with children and adults
  • Sound understanding of child protection and safeguarding
