This is an exciting opportunity to join Elysium Healthcare as a Domestic Assistant at our 42-bed service in Clacton-on-Sea. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our service users. You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all areas of the service are spotless and deliver high-standard cleaning services.
Responsibilities
As a Domestic Assistant, you will be responsible for cleaning all areas of the service, including wards, office spaces, bedrooms, and visitor areas. You will maintain required security standards, be an active member of the team, and have excellent communication skills to interact with staff, visitors, and service users. You will also attend mandatory and statutory training as required by Elysium Healthcare.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of cleaning within a similar environment, enjoy cleaning, and have good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness. You should also be able to prioritize duties and responsibilities effectively, be a good communicator, and have the ability to spot and resolve problems efficiently.
