Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 2 HGV driver to join our team at Quality Service Recruitment. As a Class 2 HGV driver, you will be responsible for operating a refuse collection vehicle in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle in a safe and efficient manner
- Collect and transport refuse to designated disposal sites
- Ensure that the vehicle is properly loaded and secured
- Monitor the on-board computer to ensure compliance with weight limits
- Assist the loading team as required
Requirements
- Valid UK driving licence with C entitlement
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card
- Valid CPC
- At least 12 months Class 2 driving experience
- No more than 6 points on licence
- No DD or DR driving convictions
Working Conditions
This is a full-time position with regular hours. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment and requires the ability to work independently as part of a team.
What We Offer
- Competitive hourly rate
- Time and a half paid after 8 hours per day
- Double time paid for work on weekends or bank holidays
- Accrual of holidays up to 28 per year pro rata
