Job Title: Radiology Navigator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Radiology Navigator to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a Radiology Navigator, you will play a critical role in coordinating and scheduling examinations, providing administrative support to the Radiology Directorate, and serving as a first point of contact between external and internal referrers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and schedule examinations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services
  • Provide administrative support to the Radiology Directorate, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with staff and patients
  • Act as a first point of contact for external and internal referrers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Develop and utilize a wide range of knowledge, including Radiology modalities, booking procedures, and schedules
  • Collaborate with the navigator team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
Requirements:
  • NVQ/Apprenticeship Level 4 Business Administration or equivalent
  • Grade C or above in GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent
  • Trust HR Leadership/Skills Programme
  • Recent administrative experience working in the NHS
  • Recent experience of working across teams consisting of clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Experience of effectively managing competing priorities
  • Radiology Administrative experience
