Job Title: Radiology NavigatorWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Radiology Navigator to join our team at the Transformation Unit. As a Radiology Navigator, you will play a critical role in coordinating and scheduling examinations, providing administrative support to the Radiology Directorate, and serving as a first point of contact between external and internal referrers.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and schedule examinations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services
- Provide administrative support to the Radiology Directorate, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication with staff and patients
- Act as a first point of contact for external and internal referrers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
- Develop and utilize a wide range of knowledge, including Radiology modalities, booking procedures, and schedules
- Collaborate with the navigator team to achieve departmental goals and objectives
- NVQ/Apprenticeship Level 4 Business Administration or equivalent
- Grade C or above in GCSE English and Mathematics or equivalent
- Trust HR Leadership/Skills Programme
- Recent administrative experience working in the NHS
- Recent experience of working across teams consisting of clinical and non-clinical staff
- Experience of effectively managing competing priorities
- Radiology Administrative experience
