Job Summary
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator III to manage and coordinate all aspects of Dr. Sartin's research program. This position will be responsible for developing protocol-specific systems and documents, working with study team members and stakeholders to ensure adequate design, implementation, and testing of study aims, and training and supervising Research Assistants.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned clinical studies, including education and training of Research Assistants.
- Develop and maintain protocol-specific systems and documents, ensuring compliance with Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and regulations.
- Collaborate with study team members and stakeholders to design, implement, and test study aims, ensuring high-quality research outcomes.
- Train and supervise Research Assistants, providing guidance and support to ensure successful study execution.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, identifying trends and insights to inform research decisions.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the success of the research program.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five (5) years of related experience required. Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Professional (CCRP) certification preferred. Must have a solid understanding of research methods, particularly those related to quantitative and qualitative human subject studies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with research software and tools, such as electronic data capture systems and statistical analysis software.
Work Environment
This position will be based at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) campus, with opportunities for remote work. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic research team, working collaboratively to advance knowledge and improve health outcomes.
