Job Title: GCMS Analyst - Fragrance Formulation

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled GCMS Analyst to join our team at Science Solutions Recruitment. As a GCMS Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing fragrance samples, identifying and quantifying the materials present, and interpreting essential oil data to create unique fragrance formulas.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare samples for GCMS analysis and ensure accurate and efficient results
• Analyze fragrance samples using GCMS systems and interpret data to identify specific oils present
• Create fragrance formulas based on analysis results and customer requirements
• Maintain and troubleshoot GCMS systems to ensure optimal performance
• Update essential oil spreadsheets to aid in interpretation of oil data

Requirements:

• Proven experience with GCMS systems and equipment
• Strong knowledge of fragrance ingredients and essential oils
• Degree in Analytical Chemistry or related field, with a focus on Gas Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
