About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Carpentry Specialist to join our team of professionals. This is a field-based position in the South West region, covering the Torquay and South Hams areas.

Purpose of the Role:

The successful candidate will provide high-quality fault fixing and maintenance services at multiple sites throughout our portfolio. They will be part of our out-of-hours service, ensuring the safety of our customers at all times. As an ambassador for LiveWest, they will represent our organization and uphold our values.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert carpentry services, including fault fixing and maintenance, at multiple sites.
• Work collaboratively with our team to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Act as a point of contact for customers, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies to ensure optimal property condition.
• Participate in out-of-hours service, responding to emergency calls and ensuring customer safety.

Requirements:

• Core trade in Carpentry, achieved through formal qualification or extensive experience.
• Good general multi-skilled abilities, with a strong focus on carpentry.
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Highly competent and proactive, with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.
• Experience working in customer properties, with a strong understanding of customer needs.
• Full UK driving license, with a clean driving record.
