About the Role: Integris Financial Recruitment Ltd is looking for a dedicated Procurement Operations Manager to provide expert guidance and support for purchasing activities within our Finance and Procurement departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering comprehensive support to Purchase Order (PO) requestors, ensuring the accuracy of coding and details on all purchase orders while adhering to budget constraints.
- Facilitating training sessions for new users on the PO process and coordinating purchase order requests across various departments, including maintaining and distributing approved supplier lists.
- Engaging proactively with stakeholders to ensure adherence to best practice processes.
- Serving as the subject matter expert for all aspects of the purchase order process, communicating updates to policies and procedures as they arise.
- Reviewing large purchase requests or those involving commercial contracts to maximize potential discounts and promote 'intelligent buying'.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with business stakeholders to ensure alignment with company policies, guidelines, and standards.
- Verifying that purchase orders comply with relevant workflows according to company approval and authorization policies.
- Managing PO workflow settings to accurately reflect the current business structure, including updates to delegations and personnel changes.
- Addressing workflow or technical queries as necessary and ensuring timely resolutions.
- Providing analytical reports on supplier spending and order KPIs.
- Coordinating with the Procurement Team on vendor setup and supplier master data management.
- Supporting best practices for vendor due diligence and governance in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Assisting in the adoption of streamlined vendor and contract management processes.
- Contributing to the review and optimization of the supplier base to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Fostering a high-performing finance team culture characterized by open collaboration, communication, resilience, and service excellence.
