Position: Principal Operations Engineer (LOLER Appointed Person)
Location: OnsiteCompensation: Competitive Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with both internal and external stakeholders
- Designing and planning (including method statements) along with risk assessments for lifting operations
- Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation such as LOLER and PUWER
- Providing coaching and mentorship to lifting personnel
- Conducting peer reviews of intricate lift plans
- Establishing a safe working system for lifting operations
Required Skills and Experience:
Essential:
- Proven experience of 5+ years in planning lifting operations
- CPCS A61 Blue card LOLER Appointed Person
- Experience in rigging and fleeting of loads
- Effective communication skills with all stakeholders, both internal and external
- IT proficiency, including expertise in AutoCAD
Desirable:
- ECITB Appointed Person Moving Loads (TAP01)
- Level 5 NVQ Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations – Planning Lifts
- Level 4 NVQ Diploma in Controlling Lifting Operations – Supervising Lifts
- CPCS A62 Blue card Crane/Lift Supervisor
