Transforming Education for Vulnerable Young People

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN/SEND Tutor to join our team at Targeted Provision Ltd. As a Tutor, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality education and support to young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, and other Additional Educational Needs.

As a SEN/SEND Tutor, you will work closely with our team of SEN/SEND Support Specialists to provide tailored support to each young person. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and holistic sessions that meet the individual needs of each student, and for providing regular feedback and progress reports to parents and carers.

About the Role

You will work closely with our team of SEN/SEND Support Specialists to provide tailored support to each young person, and will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and holistic sessions that meet the individual needs of each student.

Requirements
  • Professional Teaching Qualifications (Qualified Teacher Status / QTS / QTLS)
  • Minimum 2 years teaching experience
  • Experience working with young people with SEND, SEMH, and other Additional Educational Needs
  • Experience, knowledge, and understanding of safeguarding processes
  • Enhanced DBS (we can help obtain this at cost if needed)
  • Two professional references
