The Opportunity: Java Execution Developer

We are seeking a skilled Java Execution Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and maintaining the critical systems that power our trading operations. You will work closely with quantitative researchers, traders, and other engineers to design, implement, and test high-performance software solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain Java applications for execution and order management systems.
  • Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and testable code that adheres to best practices.
  • Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including design reviews, code reviews, and testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production systems.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in the financial technology industry.

Qualifications:

  • Strong programming skills in Java, with a deep understanding of object-oriented principles.
  • Experience developing high-performance applications in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with financial markets and trading concepts.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
