Position Summary: We are on the lookout for a proactive and skilled Construction Site Engineer to join our vibrant team. The selected candidate will report to the Pre-Construction Manager and Civils Manager, playing a vital role in the successful execution of our residential projects.
Key Duties:
- Work closely with the Pre-Construction Manager and Civils Manager to strategize and implement new build projects.
- Perform regular site inspections across the North of England to monitor construction activities, ensuring adherence to project specifications and quality benchmarks.
- Assist in developing construction plans, technical drawings, and project timelines.
- Track and report on project advancements, identifying potential challenges and suggesting effective resolutions.
- Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to guarantee timely and efficient project execution.
- Conduct quality assessments and ensure compliance with health and safety standards on-site.
- Provide technical support and direction to the project team, addressing any technical challenges that may occur.
Qualifications and Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- Demonstrated experience as a Site Engineer or in a comparable role, ideally within the new build sector.
- In-depth knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and regulations.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Willingness to travel across the North of England for regular site visits.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, MS Office, and other construction-related software is a plus.
