About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Domestic Assistant to join our team at Sussex Housing and Care. As a key member of our care home team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our residents.

Main Responsibilities
  • Carry out cleaning tasks to a high standard, including vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining communal areas.
  • Respect residents' personal belongings and contribute to their upkeep and cleaning.
  • Ensure residents' safety while carrying out cleaning tasks.
Requirements
  • Ability to recognize residents' rooms and belongings as personal and private.
  • Demonstrate safe practice and good communication skills.
  • Maintain a polite and courteous manner towards residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Awareness of health and safety and manual handling.
