Position Overview:

Are you a skilled Commercial Electrician seeking a rewarding opportunity? Certas Energy UK Ltd is expanding its team of Electricians throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Connect solar energy systems, inverters, and other high-voltage apparatus to the building's electrical infrastructure.
  • Perform testing and inspections on installed energy systems.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
  • Commission systems with support from the back office.
  • Repair or replace photovoltaic-related wiring, equipment, and fixtures.
  • Maintain comprehensive records of all installations and maintenance activities.
  • Install, assemble, and service all photovoltaic-related electrical devices and appliances.
  • Test photovoltaic electrical systems and ensure circuit continuity to guarantee compatibility and safety, producing necessary industry certifications.
  • Diagnose issues with existing systems and provide accurate feedback along with proposed solutions.
  • Assist in site assessments for potential new contracts.
  • Minimum qualification of NVQ Level 3 is required.
