Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Barchester Healthcare. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will provide a specialist psychology service to support the delivery of high-quality care and support to our patients. You will work with patients who may be experiencing emotional distress, depression, anxiety, OCD, phobias, psychosis, and other conditions. Your role will involve selecting, administering, and interpreting psychometric and neuropsychological tests, as well as liaising with referrers, GPs, and other professionals to develop and review care and risk management plans.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of current developments in professional and clinical practice, as well as excellent communication skills. You will be able to deliver complex and sensitive information and make psychological interventions with carers and families. You will also be responsible for keeping accurate records and supervising the work of other multi-disciplinary staff when appropriate.
