Morson Talent Careers is currently recruiting for Skilled Fitters to work on a 6-month ongoing contract at the Filton site. As a global company, our client serves the world's leading aircraft and aero-engine manufacturers with three business lines: Civil airframe, defense airframe, and engine systems.

Key Requirements:

* Level 3 indentured apprenticeship in a relevant field or an NVQ Level 3 with 3-5 years aerospace experience
* Demonstrate skills by attending a Trade Test at the Filton site, which includes drilling, riveting, countersinking, and bolting

Working Hours and Conditions:

* Standard Hours: 35 per week
* 4-Day Week working Monday to Thursday, with the possibility of changing to Tuesday to Friday with 2 weeks' notice
* Hours: 7am to 4.15pm
* Shift Pattern: Core Days

Compensation and Benefits:

* Rate: £17.93 PAYE
* Weekday Overtime: £22.41
* Weekend Overtime: £26.90

Security Clearance:

* Baseline Security Clearance Required, usually ahead of the start date

Main Tasks:

* Operate as a multi-skilled, flexible worker to ensure maximum effectiveness and efficiency
* Have a wide knowledge of hand and machine tools used in the aircraft industry
