About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Care Team Leader to join our team at Care UK's Ayton House in West Sussex. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and supervising your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the highest standard of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Lead and supervise your shift, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care.
  • Case Management: Manage resident cases, liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders to create and deliver effective care plans.
  • Medication Administration: Administer and record medication as required.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of our residents.
  • Support and Development: Work alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, promoting independence and activity.
  • Service Development: Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and improve our services.
  • Professional Approach: Provide a fun, inclusive, and professional approach at all times.

About You
  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 in health and social care desirable.
  • Skills: Be well-organized, IT literate, and adept at allocating and delegating work appropriately.
  • Experience: Proven ability to lead and supervise others, with a good understanding of care planning processes.
  • Medication Administration: Experienced in or happy to undertake training on administering medication.
  • Personal Qualities: Above all, have a natural ability to help make the lives of others more fulfilling.
