About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Welding Inspector - Pressure Vessels/Welding QC Engineer to join our client's successful team. As a key member of the quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in the fabrication and welding of pressure vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct non-destructive testing and weld inspection to ensure compliance with industry standards
- Carry out quality control of fabrication to ensure high-quality products
- Perform weld audits to ISO 3834 and ensure project processes comply with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001
- Assist the QHSE team in ensuring a safe and healthy working environment
- Conduct internal and supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Requirements
- Good engineering skill set (Apprenticeship, HND, Degree, etc.)
- QC experience within a manufacturing environment
- Fabrication/Welding knowledge and CSWIP certification
- PED (Pressure Equipment Directive) knowledge and experience
