We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crime Editor to join our team at BookBrunch Limited. As a Crime Editor, you will be responsible for curating brilliant new writers, editing their work, and driving all aspects of the strategy to deliver an even broader, industry-leading list with a unique character.
Key Responsibilities- Curate and edit new writers and their work to deliver a unique and compelling list
- Develop and implement a strategy to drive the growth of the crime list
- Engage new readerships and communities through innovative marketing and outreach efforts
- Publish with dynamism and creativity, sensitivity and bravery, and with serious commercial impact
- Proven experience as a Crime Editor or in a related role
- Strong connections to the crime publishing community
- Excellent editing and writing skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
