Business Process Specialist

Caterpillar is seeking a highly skilled Emissions Marking Business Process Specialist to join our team in Peterborough. As a key member of our EPRC organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the Certification and Labelling of all engines manufactured for the Industrial Power Systems Division (IPSD-M) meet worldwide emissions regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Develop expertise in Caterpillar's bespoke Certification Data Management (CDM) and Enterprise Label Printing System (ELPS) systems for all emissions marking related functionality.
- Champion new emissions marking systems development from requirements gathering through to user acceptance testing.
- Identify and lead continuous improvement opportunities for emissions marking related processes and tools.
- Provide support for team-related project requirements.
- Become fluent in all relevant emission regulatory product marking requirements and provide regulatory guidance to the business on engine emissions compliance marking.
- Lead/champion resolution of emissions marking related issues.
- Hands-on execution of emissions marking processes supporting both production and post-production processes for multiple production facilities.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Business Analysis: Knowledge of business analysis and the set of tasks, techniques, and tools required to identify business needs; ability to recommend solutions that deliver value to stakeholders.
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
- System and Technology Integration: Knowledge of the features and facilities of systems; ability to integrate and communicate among applications, databases, and technology platforms.
