We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Network Controller at Severn Trent Water.
The successful candidate will play a critical role in securing, managing, and prioritizing waste tanker needs across our business to prevent and reduce the impact of flooding and pollution.
Key Responsibilities- Logistics Scheduling: Manage logistic schedules on a reactive basis through close liaison with relevant stakeholders to maximize tanker resource efficiency while ensuring high levels of customer service.
- Tanker Schedule Management: Manage and communicate tanker schedules to relevant personnel and departments.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all operations planned are compliant with all legal requirements and company policies.
- Relationship Management: Proactively manage and enhance both internal and external relationships with key parties, including contractors, STW teams, COSC, Asset delivery, and other supporting departments.
- Incident Management: Manage incidents and events as per STW policy and procedures, ensuring decisions are communicated to operations, internal customers, contractors, and other stakeholders.
We are looking for a candidate who is comfortable using Microsoft Office and SAP systems, with the ability to articulate and interpret technical information and specifications.
The ideal candidate will have experience in building and developing effective relationships with stakeholders and hold a full UK driving license.
