Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Critical Care Practitioner to join our dedicated team. This role involves collaborating closely with the Ultrasound Modality Manager to enhance the quality and efficiency of ultrasound services across our healthcare system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Operational Manager in delivering exceptional and cost-effective ultrasound services throughout the organization.
- Ensure the establishment of effective ultrasound service delivery, planning, and communication frameworks.
- Oversee the management, development, and assessment of all ultrasound practitioners and support personnel, including recruitment, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development.
- Address and resolve any ultrasound-related complaints in a timely and effective manner.
- Implement organizational policies within the ultrasound modality and Clinical Service Unit, while also formulating and reviewing local policies.
- Act as a budget signatory, collaborating with the Clinical Unit Operational Manager to ensure optimal management of human and physical resources, adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Work in partnership with clinical and administrative staff to initiate and oversee ultrasound and Clinical Service Unit projects.
- Provide professional leadership in ultrasound clinical areas, ensuring the highest standards of practice are maintained.
- Participate in the procurement and ensure the safe operation of advanced and complex ultrasound equipment across the organization.
- Lead recruitment and marketing efforts for ultrasound services in collaboration with the Human Resources department.
