Maintenance Electrician Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team at the Sellafield Site in West Cumbria. As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on a wide range of Electrical and Instrumentation plant systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance on Electrical and Instrumentation plant systems
  • Carry out project work, breakdown repairs, and safe isolations
  • Work with single-line electrical drawings, instructions, and manuals
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure safe and efficient operations
Requirements:
  • Time served Electrician or Instrument Mechanic holding recognised apprenticeship (e.g. NVQ level 3 Electrical Instrumentation or equivalent)
  • Proficient in English and Maths
  • Self-motivated, driven, and resilient
  • Able to make correct and informed decisions under pressure
  • Required to become Appointed as a Nominated Person Electrical
Desirable Criteria:
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Operation & Maintenance requirements associated with their area
  • Knowledge of maintenance programmes and company standards/industry best practice
  • IOSHH Working Safely
Security Clearance:

Security Clearance is essential for these roles. Candidates must be eligible for Security clearance, if not already held. We invite applications from Candidates who hold British Citizenship and who haven't worked outside the UK for the past 5 years.

Further Developed Vetting will be applied for in due course (this includes but is not limited to identity, employment, financial, criminal record checks, interview plus 10 years of UK residency).
