Early Years Leader Job Description

At Ultimate Activity Camps, we're seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Leader to join our team. As a key member of our camp staff, you'll be responsible for delivering a fun and engaging programme for our 4- and 5-year-old campers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery of a high-quality Early Years programme, meeting all EYFS requirements.
  • Prepare and deliver engaging sports, arts, and crafts activities, tailored to the needs and abilities of our young campers.
  • Direct and support a team of Early Years staff, ensuring seamless childcare delivery.
  • Ensure the welfare and safety of our campers, maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates and feedback.
  • Manage administrative tasks, including sign-in/out, registration, and other essential duties.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or Primary Education.
  • Significant experience working with 4- and 5-year-olds, delivering activities and adapting to their needs.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a passion for working with children.
  • Good working knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage and its application in a camp setting.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach.
