Application Security Manager

We are seeking an experienced Application Security Manager to join our dynamic team at Team ITG. As a key member of our information security team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the security of our systems and data from potential threats.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and respond to security incidents with a sense of urgency
- Establish and implement security policies and protocols to maintain the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our information and proprietary technology
- Collaborate with Dev Ops, Cloud Ops, and development teams to ensure that all systems and applications are functioning securely and in compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Review regular vulnerability assessments and develop and implement remediation plans to address identified risks and vulnerabilities
- Manage relationships with third-party vendors and ensure that their services and products meet the required standards when integrated
- Keep up to date with the latest security threats, trends, technologies, and regulations in the industry
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure the alignment of security efforts with wider business objectives
- Cybersecurity and/or technology-related certifications
- At least 4 years of experience in information security or a related technology role
- Strong knowledge of security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Understanding of network protocols, ethical hacking, and security testing methodologies
- Experience in analysis and reporting on systems such as SAST, DAST, Pen testing, and SDLC
- Experience in authentication management and API security requirements
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team environment with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Knowledge of security standards and regulations such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and NIST/SOC 2 reporting
- Knowledge of OWASP, CVSS, and threat intelligence and modeling
- Demonstrated experience of incident management processes and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
