Your Responsibilities:
  • Team Management and Guidance: Provide exceptional leadership, mentorship, and support to your team of drivers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Performance Optimization: Implement strategies to enhance team performance, productivity, and adherence to service level agreements.
  • Training and Development: Conduct comprehensive training programs for new and existing team members, ensuring they are equipped with the latest knowledge, skills, and best practices related to healthcare logistics, customer requirements, and company policies.
  • Operational Excellence: Oversee day-to-day operations, proactively address issues, and drive continuous improvement initiatives within your assigned region.
  • Recruitment and Onboarding: Participate in the recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and onboarding new team members to ensure a seamless transition into their roles.
  • Customer Focus: Respond promptly and effectively to urgent customer requests, demonstrating exceptional service delivery and communication skills.
Your Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team of drivers within the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • A commitment to safety and adherence to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
  • Full UK manual driving license with a maximum of 6 points.
  • Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check.
  • Vaccinations against Hepatitis B, tetanus/polio are mandatory due to the nature of our work.
