The Role: Head of Regional Property

As the Head of Regional Property, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our property insurance strategy within your designated region. You will be responsible for driving growth, fostering strong relationships with capacity providers, and leading a team of talented professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement underwriting strategies that align with regional market conditions and business objectives.
  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities within the property insurance sector.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with capacity providers to secure competitive terms and capacity.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of underwriters and brokers.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments, including marketing, claims, and operations, to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor market trends and regulatory changes to identify potential risks and opportunities.

  • Proven track record of success in the property insurance industry, with a deep understanding of underwriting principles and risk management practices.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
