Role Overview

As a Civil Design Engineer, you will spearhead project management activities, ensuring projects stay within budget and adhere to agreed timelines. Your responsibilities will include designing to British Standards/Eurocodes/Building Regulations/Sewerage Sector Guidance and SuDS Manual (C753), incorporating SuDS principles and adoptable standards.

Technical Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with at least 2 years of post-graduate experience in drainage or highways design
  • Proficiency in designing to British Standards/Eurocodes/Building Regulations/Sewerage Sector Guidance and SuDS Manual (C753)
  • Competency in foul and surface water drainage design, incorporating SuDS principles and adoptable standards
  • Experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, FLOW & Smart Tools (or Microdrainage/InfoDrainage), Word, and Excel
  • Familiarity with Cut/Fill analysis, building 3D models, and data shortcuts using Civil 3D is advantageous
