The Role: Accounts Payable Assistant (Fixed Term Contract)

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our finance team on a fixed-term contract for 6-9 months. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our accounts payable processes, collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to resolve supplier issues promptly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Invoice Processing: Accurately and efficiently process invoices across all companies within the Group, ensuring compliance with tax and accounting requirements (VAT and CIS). Match incoming invoices to purchase orders in our Coupa P2P system. Process staff expenses, receipts/invoices supporting credit card spend.
  • Payments: Prepare suggested payments lists as required in Coupa. Raise urgent payments and payments to CIS suppliers. Allocate direct debit payments.
  • Controls: Regularly reconcile supplier statements and aged creditors. Resolve bank reconciliation matters. Reconcile credit cards and accounts. Ensure accurate reconciliation of supplier accounts between Coupa P2P system and PMX ERP system.
