Electrical Site Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Supervisor to join our Construction team in the Anglian Water Region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising and controlling all electrical site activities to ensure efficient delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate electrical site installations to meet project specifications and timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to SHE standards and safe systems of work to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Verify new electrical systems and ensure they meet current standards and specifications.
  • Monitor supply chain performance and programme to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Review and monitor supplier inspection and test plans to ensure they are up-to-date and relevant to the work activity.
  • Attend site inductions and toolbox talks to ensure all personnel are aware of site-specific requirements.
  • Support commissioning activities as required and attend collaborative planning meetings to develop site delivery programmes.
  • Carry out electrical isolations and regular electrical safety inspections on temporary and permanent equipment.
  • Hold regular meetings with supply chain supervisors to ensure take-5s are carried out and assist with compilation of project takeover documentation.
  • Oversee electrical testing to ensure it is undertaken in line with BS7671 and review test results against guidance note 3 and manufacturers' literature.
  • Issue limitation of access permits and maintain a daily diary of site activities.
