Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Expert to join our team at Astute Recruitment Ltd. As a Management Accountant, you will play a key role in our company's financial success.
About the RoleThis is a challenging and varied position that requires a strong analytical mind and excellent leadership capabilities. You will be responsible for all day-to-day Financial Management and assisting in all internal and external reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Monthly management accounts preparation, variance analysis, and commentary
- Responsibility for the month-end accounting close, Trial Balance, general ledger, balance sheet reconciliations, compliance, and stock management
- Assist in the production of working capital reports and cash-flow forecasting and analysis
- Support the Finance Director in the budgetary planning and forecasting processes, including full involvement in the annual budget and updated forecasts
- Monthly flash reporting and setting/reporting KPI's
- Ad hoc projects and the ongoing development of financial reporting processes, costing, and business management systems
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or QBE
- Analytical with excellent leadership capabilities
- Preference for strong manufacturing exposure with knowledge of costing and estimating systems (BOM, processes routings)
- You will have previously worked as a Management Accountant or Finance Manager
- A strong relationship builder, you will act as Financial Business partner supporting the Finance Director and Operational teams
- IT literate with advanced Excel skills (required)
- Experience in International growth
