Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled High Net Worth Underwriter to join our team at Claims Recruitment Services. As a leading recruitment agency in the UK insurance market, we are proud to partner with top brands to find the best talent.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work with a state-of-the-art underwriting platform and contribute to the growth of a successful and innovative insurer. As a High Net Worth Underwriter, you will be responsible for underwriting Art and Private Client products, working across direct and broker distribution channels, and Household, Motor, and Travel insurance policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet or exceed set targets for profitability, GWP, conversion, and retention.
  • Develop sales skills and collaborate with wider teams and regions to drive sales and underwriting strategy.
  • Negotiate effectively with internal and external parties, identifying key contacts within brokers.
  • Challenge non-standard underwriting decisions, leveraging expertise from Product Specialists and Underwriting Managers.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive profitable growth.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Personal Lines Underwriting is essential.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Dip CII qualification is highly desirable.
