About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Architectural Technician to join our design and technical department. As a Senior Architectural Technician, you will be responsible for providing design, technical, and planning input to our land bid and strategic land processes. You will work closely with our team to produce constraints information, site layouts, and design drawings to inform land valuation and bid processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with land bid and strategic land processes to provide design, technical, and planning input.
  • Produce constraints information, site layouts, and design drawings to inform land valuation and bid processes.
  • Liaise with planning authorities and project stakeholders on planning-related matters.
  • Prepare, submit, and manage planning applications, including outline, full, and reserved matters applications.
  • Coordinate production of construction information and submit and manage building regulations applications.
  • Manage projects on site, handle queries, and attend site meetings.
  • Produce contract, legal, and conveyancing drawings and coordinate site legal setup.
  • Handle post-completion issues, including management company liaison and technical input to customer care issues.
  • Engage with the supervision, management, development, and mentoring of junior team members.
  • Coordinate other associated disciplines as necessary, including ecological, archaeological, and noise surveys.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a housebuilder's design and technical department.
  • 5 GCSEs grade 4 or above, including maths and English.
  • Relevant degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Computer/IT literate with capability to use Excel, Word, and database packages.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD.
