Sanitation Technician

Brackenberry Ltd is collaborating with a Local Authority to recruit a Cleansing Operative for a 1.5-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension based on client needs. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their CV for consideration.

Compensation: £15.33 per Hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform duties related to the sweeping, collection, and disposal of litter, debris, dead animals, leaves, and weeds from public areas, including roads and walkways.
• Occasionally assist with refuse collection tasks as required.
• May have the opportunity to operate specialized vehicles for Environmental Cleansing, contingent upon receiving the necessary driving assessments.
• Under a local agreement, cleansing operatives may be trained to operate the Council's street sweeping vehicles, with the driver rate applicable only when assigned to driving duties.
• Utilize Radio Telecommunications equipment in compliance with Road Traffic Legislation while on duty.
