About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Arla Foods' Settle Creamery. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment, including milk pasteurization, homogenization, and packaging systems.
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues, implementing repairs and maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and efficiency.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
Requirements
- Time-served or apprentice-trained engineer with experience in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Qualified to ONC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
- Proven experience in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation within a fast-paced production or process environment.
- Computer literate with proficiency in SAP, Microsoft Office, and SCADA systems.
