Ador Talent is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trainee Construction Estimator to join our team. As a Trainee Construction Estimator, you will play a key role in supporting our experienced team in the preparation of tender documents, contract administration, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of tender documents, including bills of quantities and schedules of rates.
  • Support the team in the administration of contracts, including the preparation of contractual documents and the management of contractual issues.
  • Contribute to the cost management of projects, including the preparation of cost reports and the identification of cost-saving opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: HNC/HND in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • Certs: CSCS Card.
  • Experience/Knowledge: At least five years post-graduate experience as a QS on projects with a contract value of £5 million.
  • Skills: Financial and contractual awareness, knowledge of construction methods and technology, ability to plan ahead and prioritize workload, ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Computer: Outlook, Word, Excel.
