About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Night Shift Engineer to join our team at Smart Managed Solutions. As a Night Shift Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive works to building systems within contracted areas of responsibility.
  • Ensure that routine PPM is carried out to all electrical and mechanical plant in accordance with site task schedules and asset lists.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for improvement in building systems and processes.
  • Manage and maintain a suitable inventory of spare parts to ensure timely completion of maintenance and reactive works.
  • Ensure that computer-based maintenance systems are up to date and that PPM and reactive tickets are closed out with accurate data captured.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork regarding reactive and breakdown works and pass it on to the contract administrator in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement method statements and risk assessments for all tasks undertaken to ensure safe working practices.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Smart staff, subcontractors, and client representatives.
  • Supervise and monitor subcontractor works while on site undertaking maintenance.
