Sales Director MICE Opportunity

We are supporting a leading company in the events and destination marketing industry with the recruitment of a Sales Director or Sales Manager to join their team.

The role is varied and we are looking for a highly engaging sales professional with experience in proactive sales, networking, and face-to-face sales.

The Sales Director or Sales Manager will be responsible for contacting event planners, airlines, and hotel groups to network and pitch destinations, arranging FAM trips and educational trips, and collaborating with industry partners.

Attending global MICE trade shows is a key part of the role, as is organizing sales events.

This role would suit a proactive Sales Director or Sales Manager working in MICE, destinations, or venues/hotels who is keen to drive forward their MICE sales career.

The confidence to attend industry events and network with prospective event managers, as well as a super-organized approach to following up prospects and leads, will be key.

We are looking for a proven track record in sales and an established network alongside an understanding of the events industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contacting event planners, airlines, and hotel groups to network and pitch destinations
  • Arranging FAM trips and educational trips
  • Collaborating with industry partners
  • Attending global MICE trade shows
  • Organizing sales events
