Job Title: Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Maintenance Engineer to join our team at one of our production factories near Kendal. As a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting all production machinery, including electro-mechanical maintenance work, and will have the opportunity to develop your weaker side, whether it be mechanical or electrical.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support all production machinery, including electro-mechanical maintenance work
  • Combat and resolve breakdowns and machinery problems
  • Work through planned preventative maintenance and undertake project work, such as new installations
Requirements:
  • Maintenance or Service Engineer background in any environment, ideally industrial, manufacturing, production or automated
  • Completed a recognised engineering apprenticeship or hold engineering qualifications at Level 3 or above
  • Good maintenance and troubleshooting skills across motors, belts, bearings, chains, gears, pumps, boilers, sensors, inverters, relays, contactors, 3 phase, PLC's, pneumatics, hydraulics, steam systems, etc.
  • Multi-skilled across electrical & mechanical issues – either bias is welcome
