Job Title: Trade Counter Assistant

As a Trade Counter Assistant at SIG plc, you will be the face of our company, engaging with customers both over the phone and face to face. This is an ideal role for an outgoing and personable candidate who has the confidence to take customer orders and provide key product information to customers visiting our busy Trade Counter.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-class customer service to all customers 'over the counter.'
  • Undertake sales activity as and when required.
  • Engage with customers and build relationships.
  • Support the yard team when required, including forklift training.
  • Develop product and technical knowledge to provide expert advice to customers.
Requirements:
  • Experience in the construction industry would be beneficial, but we can develop your product and technical knowledge if you're willing to learn.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Dynamic and motivated individual.
